In this novella, Flirt, Anita is kidnapped by werelions for the purpose of raising the corpse of a rich man used to getting his way.This is a short story for the Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter series, but it's still a goodie. It only runs to be just under 200 hundred pages, as opposed them running around 400 pages or so.
No one likes to be threatened, but no one takes it near as far as Anita does.
When she finds out her main sweeites, Micha and Nathaniel are being followed by snipers ready for the kill if she doesn't do what they want her to do, Anita, being only who she is, finds a way to save them all including herself.
Nicky is the newest member of Clan Anita, haha! You gotta love how he comes to be her "Bride".
