Another fantastic Consequences book!
Convicted is the third book from Aleatha Romig's Consequences series.
Continuing to follow the relationship of billionaire Anthony Rawlings and ex-wife Claire Nichols! I don't think anyone alive has a relationship like these two! Utterly meant for each other but with such a tragic start, middle, and end....maybe an end...maybe not an end....OMG how the hell will they ever finally get their happily ever after!?!
You know that I want to write and write and write about these stories!! But there is so much that shouldn't be said because of spoilers and I'll be damned if I am the one to spoil these books for you! No way...it's worth reading.
Suspense and plot twists you don't see coming! Yes, some that even made cry out "WHY!!!!"
Seriously, such a great series...I can't wait for the next!!!
**Update...ok so I didn't know that books 4-6 are actually the same stories from books 1-3 but from Anthony's point of view. Hopefully, Aleatha Romig will continue the series from Claire's view as it's been.**

I seriously wish I could write everything I want to about this book...hell about this series!!!
But I would be giving away just too many spoilers and that just isn't fair.
Truth, is the second installment of the Consequences series and another absolutely fantastic read! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time and I even had my spouse telling if I didn't stop smacking myself in the head (only after sheer suspense moments of course!)that he would take my tablet away!
That is a first! Not an ideal threat, he'd really do it....
Anyway...
Claire is on the move for some serious revenge/vengeance! Who can blame her!? After an amazing offer, she's out of prison for her attempted murder charges and starting life over....but wouldn't you know it....someone doesn't think he should let her!! (insert dark music here) But that doesn't deter our sweet little Claire, no way. She continues on with her everyday life and even starts seeing a special someone.
Over the next few months, both Tony and Claire have come up with lists upon lists of demands for one another just to try and top the other one. Claire isn't sitting idly by this time though, no way, she stands up to Tony every time and even gets him laughing. That's a feat in itself!
They consider their plays like a chess game, but is it going to be the King or the Queen left standing!?

Holy mind-fuck....
Let me start of by saying this was such a fantastic read!
There is so much I want to say about this book but I really don't want to give away any type of spoilers. I'm at a standstill on what to say...
This is not your typical love story. Please be warned there is many aspects of abuse, both mentally and physically.
Ok.... (deep breath)
Claire Nichols was your average, everyday girl. Bartending to pay the bills while waiting for her dream job as a meteorologist comes around.
One night, one chance meeting, one mistake of saying 'yes' and her life is about to change drastically.
Anthony Rawlings......oh my god....what can even be said about Tony.....
Anthony has quite the fascination for Claire. He wants to own her completely. He wants to control her completely. Oh, and he does. By god, he does. Anthony takes controlling to a new level. A mind-fuck level.
Claire is trying to survive and doing anything and everything just to keep going. That includes doing whatever Anthony tells her. He makes it very clear that failure is not an option...she learns that quickly. Claire is so strong, so amazingly strong to be able to handle what Tony dishes out. To handle all the horrible situations she finds herself in. Most importantly, to survive at all costs.
Consequences takes so many twists and turns, it's absolutely amazing! So many times you think you have it all figured out and then BHAM! Mind-fuck....
I honestly think that is all I can say without giving away any spoilers.
