Forever Wicked was a very cute novella for the Wicked Lovers series!

Jason and Gia have some serious chemistry but they still have many issues they need to get through. Mostly it's Gia fault for bailing on their marriage after only one day and not trusting her now husband to help take care of the situations she's found herself in.

Jason isn't totally blameless either though, Mister Money-Bags. He thinks he really can just buy happiness from anyone he wants. He doesn't understand that words can mean as much as new LV bags.

But I tell you what, these two are hot and heavy together and seriously know how to get it on! Their sexual awareness for one another is amazing and they definitely know how to steam up a book!


Overall, I was very pleased with this novella and as always, with Shayla Black's work!

Theirs to Cherish By: Shayla Black

Theirs to Cherish is the eighth installment of the Wicked Lovers series.

I was seriously looking forward to this book because I just loved Thorpe and I seriously loved Callie's attitude in previous book. I think my expectations were just a bit too high, because it took a lot for me to finish the book.

First, I was not happy what-so-ever that Sean was even in the picture. I was really hoping for Callie and Thorpe to be the only two involved in their relationship. Reading the book, I understand that Sean can give what Thorpe can't and Thorpe can give what Sean can't so it really does work out for the three of them. But I was super sad myself.

So...Callie is a run-a-way multi-millionaire who is running from the people who killed her family. Never staying in a place too long, Callie's stay at Dominion has been her longest residence since fleeing nine years ago.

Sean became Callie's Master in the previous story but we knew nothing about him yet. Now, we know that he cares for Callie but we also know he's a liar.

Thorpe, I wouldn't call him a liar, but he is so incredibly unavailable for emotional support it's kinda crazy that he's the "big bad Dom". Though he knows how to take care of subs, he doesn't know how to handle someone he loves so he just avoids it altogether.

It became pretty boring to me with Sean and Thorpe talking about their feelings constantly.

I really do like this series and every character in them. Some stories I just like way more than others. This one is definitely not one of my favorites, but it still connects everyone (even if only for a moment). So I will continue onto the next book when it comes out.

Ours to Love By: Shayla Black

Oh, I'm so sad that I didn't enjoy this book.

I found myself rolling my eyes more than I even care to admit...

We've met Xander previously because he was Logan's go-to guy on many occasions. Xander is the playboy billionaire that just wants to have fun, screw woman, and help his friends out of sticky situations for the adrenalin rush. Since his big brother, Javier, won't allow him anything to do with the family business, he needs something to do to pass the time, right?

Javier is drowning himself in guilt and vodka because he feels responsible for his wife's infidelity which resulted in her tragic death. He refuses to allow Xander to help him in any way, personal or business.

Introduce London. Sexy Siren's owner Alyssa's inexperienced little cousin. London's had a seriously rough life after a tragic car accident handicapped her for nearly ten years. She fought through it with physical therapy and determination, and now that she's got a good medical regimen she is ready to live life to it's fullest.

Technically, London meets Javier first, though he was too drunk to remember London helping him into his bed at Alyssa's house. Xander meets London not long after with an interesting accidental strip tease that perks Xanders interest and he quickly becomes smitten. Just a few hours later, London interviews for a position available to be Javier's administrative assistant. Of course, she gets the job instantly.

Xander and Javier are both extremely attracted to London and thoroughly smitten with her. They decide that instead of fighting over her, they should share her because they both possess qualities that will benefit her.

Lot of fun, dirty sex later, and London is just seriously overwhelmed. Keeping in mind, all of this is taking place within a week. 

The playboy billionaire, and the overworked alcoholic both seem to be able to fall head over heels in love with London while committing to change their ways. As well as work together in a polygamous relationship that neither have ever tried before...all because they shared well when they were kids....good grief!

The thing I am most sad about is that Xander just isn't the same guy that we've come to know and love in the other books. If he wants to change his ways to fall in love, I'm all for it...but his personality is just so different and it breaks my heart. I was not a fan of Javier in the least though. I can't say that about many characters I've read, but he just wasn't someone I could relate to at all. 

Overall, not a terrible story. Just not one of my favorites.

Belong To Me By: Shayla Black

At this point, I'm just about half way through with Belong To Me...seriously...I can't put it down! I love this story!!

Tara and Logan are probably near as soul mates as you can ever dream. Their connection is raw and captivating.

I adore how they react to one another and it's not in that overpowering mushy mushy were it's more like, 'ugh gag me'. It's just enough that you really feel their connection and are utterly jealous of it.

Now, I'm finished with it, and most definitely this is my favorite Wicked Lover book so far.

It's funny because I honestly went into this story with the thought that I wouldn't like it it. Mostly because I was so excited about Hunter's story and really wasn't a fan of that one. Then learning Belong to Me was Logans, I thought it was going to be something of the same thing since we already knew a bit of Logan's history.

But, low -and-behold, a great story!

Tara's training as a sub, their sexual energy together, their love for one another, just amazing. Such a great story!

Mine To Hold By: Shayla Black

Delaney, aka Del, and Tyler met through Del's husband, Eric, who was LAPD partners with Tyler.

They fast became friends and then the support system for one another in bad times. One night, Eric's wicked thoughts led him to watching his wife have sex with his partner, Tyler after Eric was left paralyzed from the waist down after an on-the-job accident. Little did Eric know just how much Del and Tyler were going to enjoy it.

Tyler was always the love 'em and leave 'em type of guy. He was when he first met Del, and got even worse when he moved to Louisiana and became Alyssa's bouncer at Sexy Sirens. It's all he knows. It's what he's good at. But he's so in love with Delaney and will do anything to prove that he is what she needs. But after their quick love affair in front of Eric, Del asks Tyler to leave so she can try to fix her marriage.

Two years later, Del comes back into Tyler's life with a special request, and an even bigger surprise. Through the next week Tyler is protecting Delaney from the bad guys in LA after quiting Sexy Sirens and joining Jack Cole's services. Tyler is falling deeper and deeper in love with Delaney and vica-versa.

I loved that neither Tyler nor Del had any totally impure thoughts of one another before that one night. Nothing more than normal human impulses at least. But from the first moment they touched, they melted together and never looked back.

I felt bad for Eric in the beginning when he's trying to coach Tyler into how Del is in the sack, but...obviously he isn't what his wife needs because he's totally wrong on all accounts. I also found it hilarious though.

Tyler and Del love is unmistakable. Others can see it from miles away and I even felt a hint of jealousy from Alyssa. I don't think it was meant in any obvious way, but I really felt it.

This was another great read. Shayla Black doesn't disappoint with some hot sexy scenes and pure alpha masculinity. I thoroughly enjoyed it and can't wait to continue the Wicked Lovers series!

Wicked Ties By: Shayla Black

Morgan is a cable TV talk show host. She wants to do a show about kinky sex and hooks up with Jack to talk about a D/s relationship. 

Jack, bodyguard by day, Dominant by night is pleased to give Morgan some insight into his world.

When it's clear Morgan's life is in danger, Jack takes protection of her and hides away at his cabin in the bayou. 

What do you know, he's got a play room in the cabin!

Jack and Morgan's attraction is instant. They have that special chemistry people wish for on a daily basis. But Jack has his own personal reason's why he really wants to get Morgan into his bed.

Morgan is new into the kinky sex and she has fantasies that Jack wants to fulfill, until he learns of one in particular...a threesome. Jack's history makes it hard for him to be with someone that wants another man in her bed, even if it's only once.

The sex is great. The attraction instant. Their connection unfathomable. 

A great start to the Wicked Lovers series.

Surrender To Me By: Shayla Black

Not one of my favorite Wicked Lovers books, Surrender to Me, the fourth installment, but still a good read.

This is Hunter and Kata's story.

Called in to help fulfill his army buddy's "neighbor friend" sexual fantasy...a menage a tois....Hunter meets Kata in Las Vegas and it's lust at first sight. After a drinking the night through, Kata wakes to find that she's gone and married Hunter. A beefy hunk of Dominance....oh the shame!

Any who, someone is after Kata and threatening her life. Hunter being the good husband and Dom, he wants to protect her and keep her safe, all while she is terrifed of submitting totally to Hunter.

Kata is seriously one of the most annoying people I ever had to pleasure to read about, lol. She is so absolutely terrified of submitting to her husband for fear of losing who she really is as a person. Ok, I'm sure it's very understandable given her family history, but sometimes you just gotta go with your gut, Kata! ;-)   Which of course, she finally does.

When the opportunity arises that she will lose Hunter...it doesn't take her but seconds to change her mentality on the whole situation. At that part, I seriously was like "really?", just like that? Fighting left and right, tooth and nail through the whole book, trying to get away from her feelings... then without even really needing to think about it she changes all her opinions? Good grief.

Again, still a very good read. I adore all of the characters in the Wicked Lovers series and can't wait to continue on.

On a side note, I tell you what though, I would have LOVED to have read about Kata's training during Hunter's 6 months away...dear lord! Please....Shayla Black...make a novella out of that!!!

Delicious By: Shayla Black

Book number 3 in the Wicked Lovers, Delicious.

Alyssa, the owner of Sexy Sirens strip club, has been smitten with Luc since the moment she laid eyes on him. Luc has been trying to steer clear of Alyssa because she just didn't quite meet his ideal "wife" standards.

But since they had hours upon hours of hot sweaty sex in the previous book, Luc knows he is in a major dilemma between how he should feel and how he actually feels.

Doesn't help that someone is stalking and trying to harm the entrepreneur and Luc just happens to have some bodyguard experience...

In the relationship of Luc and Alyssa, there are many mis-communications and mistrust between both of them. 

Focused on finding the perfect "mother" for his future children, Luc doesn't think Alyssa fits the bill. Regardless that he's in love with her. Alyssa just doesn't want to admit to Luc how she truly feels about him because she is scared of how he will react. 

I've never found myself wanting to scream at a book so badly before! I love the relationship between Luc and Alyssa, love it so much. But sometimes I just wanted to yell at them that they're being incredibly foolish! HAHA.

Seriously though, really good story. Kept me on edge and even got me smacking my head a couple times! That's a first!

Decadent By: Shayla Black

In the second installment of Wicked Lovers, Decadent, we follow the menage trio of Deke, Luc, and Kimber. 

With the arrival of Kimber to learn the ways of menage to please another man, it quickly becomes more to Deke and Luc.

Problem lies with a troublesome past of Deke's that he isn't able to have a woman all to himself. In my opinion, he is very whiny. For being such a strong man/bodyguard, his emotional capacity is nill. He becomes terrified of wanting Kimber all to himself because he's never been in any sort of relationship with a woman by himself before, but he doesn't want to share Kimber with anyone anymore. Including his best bud/cousin, Luc.

Emotions run high when Kimber and Deke both decide to split off from Luc, and poor Luc is still falling for the idea of what Kimber can represent. 

I've never read a menage with this situation before. I'm sure it isn't completely out of the question but I can honestly say I didn't like that plot. All the menage books I've read have been solely about sharing. Never that one wanted out. Though I understand the reasoning and such, I was a bit let down by that twist.

I really love menage books. I love the understanding and feelings the groups have for one another, the love they have for one another, and fear of leaving someone out. Sadly, this just wasn't one of my favorites, but that's ok. It definitely won't stop me from continuing the series or from me reading more of Shayla Black. I love her work and I'm eager to complete this series!
