When unworldly student Anastasia Steele first encountered the driven and dazzling young entrepreneur Christian Grey it sparked a sensual affair that changed both of their lives irrevocably. Shocked, intrigued, and, ultimately, repelled by Christian’s singular erotic tastes, Ana demands a deeper commitment. Determined to keep her, Christian agrees.
Now, Ana and Christian have it all—love, passion, intimacy, wealth, and a world of possibilities for their future. But Ana knows that loving her Fifty Shades will not be easy, and that being together will pose challenges that neither of them would anticipate. Ana must somehow learn to share Christian’s opulent lifestyle without sacrificing her own identity. And Christian must overcome his compulsion to control as he wrestles with the demons of a tormented past.
Just when it seems that their strength together will eclipse any obstacle, misfortune, malice, and fate conspire to make Ana’s deepest fears turn to reality.

Final installment of the Fifty Shades Trilogy, Fifty Shades Freed was a great ending to a series.
Anastasia and Christian have gone and gotten married. They've only known each other a few months in total, so they're still learning things about one another. That includes their love for some BDSM.
In Freed, Christian and Ana are continuing to have threats against them. After the mishap with Charlie Tango, they're aren't leaving anything to chance.
They get back to the real wold after their wonderful honeymoon and learn how to really become husband and wife, or Mr. Grey and Mrs. Grey should I say.
They finally really get into Christian's head about what happened to him as a child.
What would an intense sexually based story be without having a baby? Seems they go hand in hand a lot of the time.
Though, that one thing I wasn't happy about in this book. I really didn't want it to happen. I know it sounds cruel and mean, but I just didn't. I was having a lot more fun just reading what happens to Ana and Christian on their daily basis that I wasn't ready for "them" to be over and become a family.
I was happy that E.L. James provided us with an inside look at life after the pregnancy and know her being pregnant didn't stop their visits to the "Red Room of Pain".
Overall, I really enjoyed this series. I adored their love story, and I loved the sex scenes. I thought they were really intense and fun to read. I loved learning about Christian the way Ana did, though her constant badgering about it was a bit annoying.
Daunted by the singular tastes and dark secrets of the beautiful, tormented young entrepreneur Christian Grey, Anastasia Steele has broken off their relationship to start a new career with a Seattle publishing house.
But desire for Christian still dominates her every waking thought, and when he proposes a new arrangement, Anastasia cannot resist. They rekindle their searing sensual affair, and Anastasia learns more about the harrowing past of her damaged, driven and demanding Fifty Shades.
While Christian wrestles with his inner demons, Anastasia must confront the anger and envy of the women who came before her, and make the most important decision of her life.
In the second installment of the Fifty Shades Trilogy, Fifty Shades Darker continues the relationship between Anastasia Steele and millionaire Christian Grey.
Ana and Christian have broken off their arrangement because she doesn't feel she can be what Christian needs.
Of course, that doesn't last. Not with the chemistry that is between these two!
They get back together and pick things up where they left off...minus any type of official arrangement.
Ana is working at a publishing house, her biggest dream, but there is the problem of her boss. Circumstances become tense, and Christian doesn't handle that very well.
Ana has a confrontation with "Mrs. Robinson" at the masquerade party. Also, gets to pick the brain of Christians Dr. Flynn.
Darker doesn't disappoint with hot sex scenes, love, and even some suspense. Charlie Tango gone missing? Oh goodness!
Oh and of course the nosy Kate finds an email between Ana and Christian, and their life is up for speculation with the inquisitive Kate.
A great book to read and very sensual to the book lover!
When literature student Anastasia Steele goes to interview young entrepreneur Christian Grey, she encounters a man who is beautiful, brilliant, and intimidating. The unworldly, innocent Ana is startled to realize she wants this man and, despite his enigmatic reserve, finds she is desperate to get close to him. Unable to resist Ana’s quiet beauty, wit, and independent spirit, Grey admits he wants her, too—but on his own terms.
Shocked yet thrilled by Grey’s singular erotic tastes, Ana hesitates. For all the trappings of success—his multinational businesses, his vast wealth, his loving family—Grey is a man tormented by demons and consumed by the need to control. When the couple embarks on a daring, passionately physical affair, Ana discovers Christian Grey’s secrets and explores her own dark desires.
Erotic, amusing, and deeply moving, the Fifty Shades Trilogy is a tale that will obsess you, possess you, and stay with you forever.

I still don't really understand why this series has become such a controversy. But deep down I know it's because people that don't normally read BDSM read this and couldn't believe how much they actually enjoyed it.
Fifty Shades of Grey, for those that have been living under and a rock and haven't heard yet, is the story of the pure and innocent Anastasia Steele meeting billionaire, Christian Grey.
Grey knows one way to love, and that's with a D/s relationship.
Anastasia is as virgin as they come and doesn't quite understand what she's getting herself into. Her conscious is constantly telling her she shouldn't be enjoying what is happening but deep down she is.
My only "problem" with the book is how Ana can't seem to let it go that this is how Christian is. He is a Dom, and she just wants to keeping digging and digging to find out the "why's" of it all. It's not really a problem, hence the quotation marks. It's more like a little nagging in the back of my mind as I read. But I'll take the nagging to read this book. Christian just makes that possible. :)
I think that is why this is so much different than other BDSM books. In those, the Doms are just Doms. No if-and's-or-but's about it. No questioning the deep down "how did they get this way?". As readers we just accept that.
So with Christian, we are getting the how's of it all. It makes for a very good read. A very erotic read as well.
So many different thoughts and opinions about this book. For me personally. I loved it. I thought the story was fun and kept me interested throughout. I loved everything from how they met in the beginning, to the drunk dialing, to the helicopter ride, to the first night stay at Escala, to the contract, and to her first real scene, and everything in between.
